Italian Pizzelles

Description:

A recipe that has been handed down through the generations.

Ingredients:

12 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cooking oil
2 cups sifted flour
1/4 cup anise seed
a pizzelle iron is required

Steps:

1.

Mix ingredients together in 1 bowl. You want the batter to drip off of your mixing spoon, not a runny consistency. Gradually add up to a 1/2 cup of flour if needed, until texture is the consistency of pancake batter.

2.

Place batter onto the pizzelle iron following the pizzelle irons cooking instructions.
